Omaha Track’s #4 Grade Railroad Ties

are reclaimed hardwood timbers that provide a rugged and economical solution for outdoor projects. These ties typically have 1 solid side, with imperfections such as split ends, plate wear, rot in the plate area, missing corners, or uneven edges. While not straight or square, they remain useful for applications where appearance is less important than function.

Each bundle contains a mix of 8’6” and 9’ ties, all full length. With their rustic character and durable treated wood, #4 ties are especially valued for fence posts, boundary markers, and heavy-duty agricultural uses.
