Omaha Track is a leading supplier of relay rail, railroad ties, other track material (OTM), and alternative fuel products. Each year, we generate and distribute more than 200,000 tons of relay rail and track accessories and process over 2 million railroad ties, graded to strict specifications to ensure quality and reliability.

Our materials inventory includes:

• Relay Rail – all sizes, graded and sorted for reuse
• Railroad Ties – relay ties, switch tie sets, bridge ties, and timbers
• Other Track Material (OTM) – tie plates, joint bars, anchors, turnouts, and accessories
• Biomass / Alternative Fuel – recycled scrap ties processed into high-quality fuel chips for co-generation

With permanent yards in Omaha, NE, and Chicago Heights, IL, as well as project-based inventories across the United States, Omaha Track ensures timely supply and nationwide availability.

Our grinding facilities in Superior, WI; Attalla, AL; Chicago Heights, IL; Eaton, CO; Laramie, WY; and L’Anse, MI process scrap railroad ties and other wood materials into chips, creating a sustainable alternative fuel source for co-generation plants. This provides railroads and utilities with a cost-effective, environmentally responsible solution for material disposal and renewable energy production.
