Our flagship plant in Superior, Wisconsin—one of the largest of its kind—has the capacity to process up to four million railroad ties per year, turning scrap ties and rail materials into clean, reliable biomass fuel. In addition to our Superior facility, Omaha Track has expanded our grinding operations nationwide to better serve our partners. Facilities in Attalla, AL; Chicago Heights, IL; Eaton, CO; Laramie, WY; and L’Anse, MI all specialize in processing scrap railway ties into high-quality fuel chips. Strategically located and served by major railroads including Canadian National (CN), CPKC, BNSF, Union Pacific, and Norfolk Southern, our sites offer unmatched flexibility and accessibility. Customers can ship or stockpile change-out ties directly to our facilities or have our mobile crews load material anywhere in the country, ensuring a streamlined, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible disposal process.
