Holiday Pay
Omaha Track provides all regular, full-time employees with seven (7) paid holidays. Holidays observed are: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Employees are eligible for Holiday Pay immediately.
Vacation Pay
Omaha Track offers all full-time, regular employees with vacation time to provide opportunities for rest, relaxation, and personal pursuits. Due to the nature of our business, there are two different vacation policies administered based on the division of the company with which the position is located. For specifics on the vacation policy for the position for which you are applying, please discuss with the Recruiting Specialist or Hiring Manager during the interview process.
Personal Time Off (PTO)
Personal time off (PTO) is available to all full-time, regular employees assigned to the Corporate Office, RibbonWeld, LaCrosse, WECO Rail Yard, OTC, Pueblo Yard and Omaha Track Equipment. Eligible employees will be credited eight (8) hours of PTO after 90 days of continuous employment, and will then receive a credit of eight (8) hours per quarter during the first calendar year of employment. As of January 1st each calendar year, employees are credited 32 hours of PTO to be used during the calendar year.
Bereavement Pay
Omaha Track will provide all regular, full-time employees with bereavement leave of up to three (3) working days due to the death of an immediate family member. Omaha Track defines “immediate family” as your spouse, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, or sibling, as well as your spouse’s child, parent, or sibling.
